Hi,

I'm a trial member interested in how useful this site is on a long term basis.

I've uploaded a short story that I wrote about a year ago. I would appreciate comments on all aspects, storyline, characterization, etc.

Also interested in how useful people find this site - I notice that many of the forums dont seem to get very many postings ? Is that just that I am used to far heavier traffic on the ones I use in my work and other interests? Does a lot happen in more off-line areas or in the 'lounge' which I cant see ?

Hell, Mas, welcome to the site. I hope your trial gives you a good idea of what goes on here. Do have a nose round, and ask for help if you need it. You'll find people very friendly and supportive.

It's true, the Lounge is quite lively, whereas the other forums vary; a thread will get busy, and then go quiet. If you click on 'Recent Posts' at the top of the Forums Home Page, then you'll get the current most talkative threads across all the forums, as WW covers such a wide range of interests. And of course the group forums are busy too, but it tends to be members of individual groups. There's also a rhythm to the week, too.

Mas, I meant to say, don't forget you can join a group as part of your free trial, which is the best way to get your work commented on and join in with the community.
