Hi, I'm new and would like to say "hello". I've already learned quite a lot by dipping into the posts on various forums. I would class myself as beginner and have uploaded my first story - "The Girl at the Pie Crust Maker" - hoping I'll receive some helpful hints and tips to improve (or be told to "give up now"). I hope also (as I get more confident) to offer some critique in the future.

    Cheers

Hello Scottydog, and welcome to WW.

I hope you're beginning to find your way around. It's worth joining a group if you want consistent feedback on your work, as posting things in the archive can be a bit hit-and-miss as to whether you get much response. You can learn a lot by critiquing others' work, so don't be shy about that; your opinions are as welcome as anyones. There's a huge range of styles and experience here, and help and support are on offer whatever stage you're at, so enjoy!

    Emma
