Chapter five of Dracula On Mars. The chapter introduces a new (though somehow familiar) character, and helps to set up what is to come. I've provided a bit more background to Mons City and the present condition of humanity, but wonder if it is too much?

I am uploading this chapter in two halves as I have a little ground to cover and want a more focused critique at this stage in the novel.
