  • First person narrative novel should I or shouldn`t I?
by Jubbly at 20:26 on 21 November 2003
I've just uploaded an attempt at a first person narrative novel, chapter one. Not sure if I'm doing the right thing or if I've gone mad. Any feed back would be greatly appreaciated, thanks anyone who's interested.

    Hey Jubbly,

I'm working on a first person narrative myself. It is difficult but it can be highly rewarding so persevere with it!

Check it out if you want, it's called Feeling Gravitys Pull.

    Hi Jubbly,
I have always thought that the first person Narrative is a very popular method for so many writers. It is very widely used in almost every field of writing and particularly in Detective Stories. However I do regard this as quite a challenge for the actions and emotions of every character is seen only through the eyes (and pen) of the Narrator. There is therefore the risk of the writing creating the drawbacks of a mediocre Monologue. All success to your efforts.
