A short story. I’ve been warming up to begin the sequel to TA, and decided to write a trio of short stories to ‘set up’ the coming book. This is the first one I came up with. The next book is going to be somewhat darker in tone, and these 'link' stories are going to deal with human horrors on the whole. I hope this story captures that fact, and also please tell me if it works as a 'stand alone'.
