The opening chapter of a new novella I have just begun. I wanted to write something that encompassed my love of Sci-fi B-movies, Gothic horror and my love of anti-heros. This is what I came up with.

I haven't posted it in sci-fi as I feel the tale is going to be more 'spiritual' than a techno yarn.

I printed it out and read the first bit. Liked the similar names, Luce (Lucy) and Jonah Hark (Johnathan Harker) and the fact that the whole planet is a cesspit. I'll have a hunt for it and read through the rest. (I blame the kids for sidetracking me)
