Hi everyone,
I've just posted the prologue of a novel, called Driving Force, which I am about to submit to an agent.
It was runner-up in this year's NAWG awards for best unpublished novel and has just been highly commended in a competition run by www.JBWB.co.uk so I'm pretty damned pleased with it. The big question is, will a publisher think the same. The agent has seen some of it and loved the characters - but not the synopsis so I've spent the last month or so re-writing the final chapters.
One small point: the bit about MADD, in its original form, is in a box and on a page on its own, to look like a newspaper report. This hasn't translated very well in the posting so it looks a bit weird.
Hope you like it. Honest feedback will be much appreciated.
Cheers
Dee.
Congratulations Dee, you should be pretty damned pleased with yourself - off to read it now!
