I've just posted the opening chapter of my novel for 8-12 year olds called The Symbol Stone onto my blog: http://booksthatmatter.blogspot.com

The book is finished on one level in that it is a full length, functioning manuscript - but probably needs some revision. It has gone to various scouts, agents and publishers over the past 12 months and I've had some very very good feedback from some key children's publishers and agents. The manuscript is now with a pretty eminent children's agent who has called me in to meet with her in 3 weeks time, but also saying that revisions/rewrites are on the cards. I'm very interested in anyone's views.

Don't want to name the agent yet - as it feels like tempting providence!
