Just to say that I have just uploaded a short story called 'In the midst of life'. As fellow Children's Group members may know, really I'm in the middle of writing a children's novel, called When I Was Ten - the first chapter is uploaded and I've been very grateful for comments. However along the way I've found myself trying out some short stories - a few finished and a couple on the go, all seem to be about children and motherhood in some form or another. One is already up, called Worse Things Happen - for which also many thanks for useful comments. This one is less like a short story but not quite sure what else it is!
