I'm a very new writer and have just uploaded my first piece of work - a short story called Worse Things Happen - although really I am writing a children's novel! I've been a member and visiting the site for a while, but haven't been brave enough yet to put work up for comment.

I have no idea how to put the link to the story in here - I guess if anyone wants to look at it you can get to it via my profile page? Excuse my ignorance!

Grateful for any comments on it.

Thanks - comments have been helpful and it's good to have some different people looking at my work. Have only commented a little so far on other people's work, but will do more in future.
