  • My (self-imposed) exile is over!
by Earl Grey at 07:15 on 24 April 2005
    Dear All,

I joined this site a while ago, but soon found myself unable to devote the time to it, or even to my writing, that I had wanted to. (Anyone else suffered from 'real-world' intervention?? Most frustrating...).

Anyway to cut a v.long story short, I sent some sample chapters to a literary agent who liked what she read, and that was all the encouragement I needed. I quit my job, took a further month out to achieve a 'teaching English' qualification, and am now keeping myself in pocketmoney by doing the same, whilst spending the rest of my time authoring. Happy Days...

Therefore I'm here not simply for another brief sortie, but to really build some momentum. I want to read your work and get to know some of you, (literary-speaking), as I hope you will with me.

I've just uploaded the prologue to my novel 'Entropy', which is work of contemporary fiction, broadly about modern-life. I hope I can look forward to your considered views.

    Yours with respect,

    Earl Grey.

Below is a link to a piece that I'd really like so feedback on. Pls be assured that I'll return the compliment to whoever is kind enough to offer me their thoughts.

    Sincere thanks in advance,
