I have just had a novel published - Pets in a Pickle - based on my life as a newly qualified vet in his first six months in practice. It has a foreword by James Herriot's son who kindly compares me to his father. There are quotes by Sir Terry Wogan who says 'It's fun and should bring a smile to your face.' While Richard Madeley endorses the book with a quote saying 'Your story is a corker.'

Many thanks for your interest. The book's published by John Blake Publishers and is on Amazon.co.uk. where it's good to see people have already submitted some great reviews. One's always apprehensive when your work is suddenly there for all to read and so it's gratifying when the feedback is positive.

Just been sent a copy of an e-mail from a reviewer for a national magazine who was sent the book. He says it should have been issued with a health warning as there is the danger of dying from laughter as it's so funny.
