Much delayed, the last part of Chapter 1 of my novel No Mystics is now posted. (No Mystics Chapter 1 Part 3) Not that I think anyone's actually been waiting with baited breath, but I did intend to post it weeks ago, but was prevented from doing so by an unexpected and prolonged stay in hospital following a sudden brain haemorrhage. Not that I'm after sympathy or anything (!!!) I am, however, planning to milk my recent misfortune for all it's worth when I start to resubmit my work to agents. Apparently they like their writers to have a selling point - J K Rowling having to write in a cafe, etc etc - so why not me struggling to complete my novel after brain surgery? They don't know I've been writing and revising it since the year dot...

Having been granted several months' sick leave, and also a sort of semi-house-arrest due to the fact that I'm not allowed to drive for ages, I'll probably be posting quite a lot of work, and might even get round to some actual writing! Shame... I'd much rather be at work (not)...
