By the way Cat's Night Out is for women poets and is not a women only audience, so if you floor-spot at CNO you will be reading to everyone (almost half the audience are men. Again a lovely, warm and supportive audience and the standard of the guest poets are cracking. They have put on UA Fanthorpe, Tamar Yoseloff, Mimi Khalvati, Selima Hill, Patience Agbabi and on 15 MAy US poet Marilyn HAcker - which I think is fantastic, especially as she's launching her new book. It is seriously a cool place to read if you're a woman poet (esp in London).
Okay, you've sold it to me. I like the sound of this one. (As an audience member I hasten to add.) But if anyone from this site is going to be doing floor spots/readings, let us know! I will post in the News section as well to maximise interest. Thanks Fevvers and Jib.
