It appears that my story CARE AND DETENTION has received no interest from Members so I hope that my new offering JOLYON AND THE CHEST will be of more interest as it is a Children's story and one that I think may appeal to children of all ages who have retained their sense of adventure as the years have passed.

I've just read Care and Detention and I'm just about to comment on it. If anyone else is picking up on this thread, I highly recommend it.

Len, next time you do something in this field, if you think it's aimed at children, can you put a brief post in the Young Adult section. I think it would perfectly suited there.

Oh hang on, I got the idea that Care and Detention was a story for children. I've picked that up wrong, but I read it with that in mind, and despite the rape scene, I think this would still appeal to the young adult group.

I too thought C&D was a story for children! Consequently I was also quite surprised by some of the content.

My apologies if I have confused some friends, JOLYON AND THE CHEST is definitely for the Children; in fact I wrote this a short while ago specifically for a little one who asked me to write a story about him.

CARE AND ATTENTION is NOT for the children.
