Hello Writers,

I received such positive comments for the first section of chapter ix that I was hesitant to complete it for fear of not living up to a promising beginning. I've done so now and the result is at

I have a habit of writing slowly and polishing words, and the result is basically that nothing ever gets written, so this time I deliberately put myself up against the clock in an attempt to finish the chapter. I'd be really interested to know if you think the writing has suffered as a result. The new section begins just after the AAAAA's. Before that is basically unchanged, except for a word or two here and there.
