Hi all

I've just joined WW and am looking forward to getting stuck in to reading, commenting and hopefully receiving some feedback on my own stuff, the first batch of which is now uploaded.

As a journo about to be made redundant, I'm using the time to put down on paper a story largley - if somewhat loosely - based on how I got to the job I was doing and what happened while I was doing it.

I suppose if you wanted to bracket it into a genre it could be along the lines of a Hotel Babylon sort of book, an expose of what a particular industry is really like.

To be honest, who knows how it will turn out, it's just a nice exercise to be going through at present as I look for my next job, and I'm really enjoying writing it!
