I've uploaded the first chapter of a fantasy novel, which I hope to self publish in the near future, but thought I'd pass it over with you all first for some impartial advice. I understand it may look a little slow to begin with, but I promise you the next few chapters speed through (I try so hard not to go into long winded intros, but it's not always easy to do).

Any comments I appreciate.
