Please would someone have a look at my work for me.

This is a piece I am writing for a parents magazine on real life experiences.

Please be gently as this is my first time

any help and advise would be gratefully received as this is my first time after dabbling on and off for years.

If it doesn't get much feedback in the Archive, you might consider joining one of the group forums and uploading it there. I would suggest the Non-Fiction Group but I see that is a bit quiet at the moment, so probably best to choose a group that is currently more active with uploads and comments, eg, Fiction I.

As a Part Member you can join one group (I've just posted an addition to my reply, above, suggesting the Childrens group considering the content of your piece) and - I think, but I may be wrong - you should then be able choose that group to upload it into (go to Owner Edit - if you don't have an Owner Edit then you can't repost it unless you become a Full Member).
If you can't repost it, then I would suggest posting a link in the Topics section of the group forum you join.

You might also consider the Chick-lit or Womans fiction groups.
