It's taken a bit of a swerve I wasn't expecting.

I'd appreciate it if those of you who have been following the story let me know if you think I should rein it in a little? Does that last scene work?

Bad news!

I’ve just spoken to my mate and he tells me there’s no way the police would just let Fynn go like that. And they wouldn’t question Georgia and the others in his presence either. Bums! I really liked that scene.

So I’m taking it off for a major rewrite – it could be a while…

I just noticed that Chapter 20 is gone, and this thread confirms it.

You know, I was thinking last night that simply because Fynn had named Tanya wouldn't signify anything, as if he HAD raped her, then of course he would know who had accused him. But this is now probably beside the point!

I've just uploaded chapter 20 again but most of it is what used to be the end of chapter 19. The bit after @@@@@ is substantially different and I'd appreciate some opinions on it.

I've just noticed that Sharoneyeball says she's posted a summary at the beginning of her latest-post chapter - so I'll be able to follow that one. Bearing in mind what you said about not being comfortable having it all in your Archive (which I completely understand, and will learn from), do you have a summary anywhere so I can follow The Winter House?

A few people have asked me to either re-post the earlier chapters or post a summary. I do need to write one to form the basis of the synopsis so, once I’ve got this problem of Fynn’s arrest sorted out, I’ll write a summary and post it up.
