Hello there, I've never used this forum before. I've just posted up 'The Careless Hour' on the short story site. It was a story I first wrote in 1999, I think, and was always vaguely disquieted about it, it seemed to have something missing. Just lately I realised what it was and re-wrote it. I've no idea if the melding of the early writing with the now writing shows up at all. I'd welcome comments. By the way, it's quite a gentle story, but does have a dark element.
