Help!! I'm being left behind................

Fret not, Jumbs. I’ve just deleted it to give you a chance to catch up!

No, seriously, the comments I had from Sharon and Ani confirmed my own suspicions that parts (most!) of the original chapter 16 were not the same standard as the rest of the book so far. It was a section I wrote over a year ago and I’ve read it so many times I was no longer sure if I was seeing it clearly.

So I have now deleted chapter 16 and re-uploaded the first couple of scene as the end of chapter 15.

Thank you again, Sharon and Ani. I keep saying this but I still mean it – your feedback is constructive, helpful, and very much appreciated.

I’ve just added C 15/2 to the end of C 15 where it belongs. Nahed and Dawn had commented on this little section so I’ve copied their feedback into the comments box at the end. Thank you both for your help with that section.

I’m still working on C 16. The problem is that a big chunk of a later chapter is blethering away trying to get out of my head, so I’m leaping between the two scenes. Must be careful not to confuse them!

Geoff, I’m really sorry but I deleted a load more chapters before I saw your last message. I’ll try and write a short synopsis of the story so far and upload it for anyone who fancies joining in at this stage. It’ll be good practise for the final version.

A big thank you to everyone who has shown an interest and commented on The Winter House – especially those of you who have stayed with me. You’ve helped enormously.
