Hi all. I've uploaded this story if you would like to read it. It's intended as a merging of two time honored genres, and I'm hoping to workshop it here and then perhaps submit it to 3rd Alternative Magazine.

The story is my first attempt at writing a fantasy story. I always used to write sci fi and fantasy stories when I was a kid, but in adult life, my tastes have changed and I've gone more for the killer thriller angle. So i suppose the story is an attempt to get back in touch with my childhood, now that I'm thirty (got my first grey hair the other day. ouch!)

Anywho, if you have the time to read it and tell me what you think about it, I'll be very much obliged and grateful.

Where's it gone James? Have you deleted it?

I've just finished reading it (I copied it onto a Word document) and now I can't find it.

I'd only intended to read a bit now and finish it later. I thought it a little slow to start with but then I found myself hooked and read right to the end. I think I was enchanted

Maybe the length put people off the idea of reading it but I don't really see where you could divide it to upload in smaller sections.

Anyway, I loved it and completely forgot to watch out for typos and the usual things... sorry about that... I think you have a 'must' instead of 'much' somewhere near the begining... that's all I noticed.

Great story.
