Mucho gracias to everyone who has read and commented on this chapter so far. Upon reflection, I agreed with Sarah that the ending of this piece needed a little more, and so I have obliged. It's only an extra 500 words or so, so I'd appreciate your comments.

I'm halfway through the next chapter already, and 'Latent Dreams' is really going to push the story forward. I'll post it as soon as it's ready.
