Recently uploaded, two dark fantasies bordering on horror. 'Tallow and 'Lily' are not out and out gore. I've been told they are disturbing. If you like Clive Barker or Poppy Z Brite you might like them. You'll find them in 'Fantasy'.

Perhaps someone could tell me whether I should reclassify them as 'Horror'.

I’m not so sure they are Horror, John. I’ve read them and enjoyed them both very much. Yes, they are disturbing but that doesn’t put me off because they are so well written.

I’ve just gone back to check my comments on these two pieces and am surprised to see I haven’t commented on Tallow. I could have sworn I did but it’s not there so it looks like I didn’t. Sorry about that.

However you classify your writing – keep doing it! You have a real talent for telling a story. Don’t lose that by trying to sanitise it.
