OK some changes to the archive layout today:

No more popular or random lists - both largely regarded as misleading/irrelevant. Instead the 20 most recent comments and works.

A new settings option (see the link near the top of the archive home page), so your archive home page displays only the types of writing you are interested in.

Finally, a (hopefully) faster loading page. (It had been slowing down considerably recently due to its sheer size, but hopefully that has been improved).

The voice of the people lives at write words !

David just logged on and noticed the changes I am sure they will be an improvement to an already excellant site, yes have noticed the slow down in loading but asumed that was my rubbish operating system and my even more appalingly slow BT line.

Love love love the long list of Recent Comments and extended Recently Added. Brilliant work David.

Insanes comments are well known to those of us who have been around for a while but he doesn't mean it he is just trying to provoke a reaction and as you can see I am not going to be drawn.
