    Hi people,

Having just joined I had tiny comment/suggestion in relation to one of the questions I was asked to answer.

I can't remember exactly where it was, but at some point I was asked whether I was 'published' or not.

As someone who has earned her spurs in the film biz, could I suggest the addition of 'broadcast' or 'produced'.

I ticked 'published', because I write and make films for a living and they've been shown on tv and at various international film festivals. But I felt like a bit of a fraud, as it's not actually true...

    Thanks,
    Kate

Given that your name and forum posts appear on this website, which is googlable. Given that you have your own website, and given that you aren't asked to adhere to a strict defnition of publishing, I would say that you are no more a fraud than I am a statue of Darth Vader constructed entirely of spaghetti and worcestershire sauce.

Kate, good point, and we'll take it on board I should think. Cheers.

Yeah, good point, Kate. I think it helps to see who is commenting on our work or on whose work we're commenting so I'd second that motion.

    Welcome to the site!

    Nik.
