Hello everyone

I've just joined because I want to ask a question. I know, I should know the answer, and perhaps I do, but the more I think about it the more I think it's not clear-cut. My question is:

What's the difinition of an essay? Why's it different to say, an article?

That's weird. How come this thread has appeared when the last activity was on 14th October 2006?

Anyone else noticed anything weird today? I don't mean just on WW but in life in general. Weird stuff happens all the time, apparently. Sometimes makes some darned good stories too! Do share your weirdiness stuff. Who knows, it could inspire the next bestseller! 

Well, I've noticed there's now a horror group without any members that seems to have manifested itself out of its own will, bit unnerving ;)

No members ... and the last activity was apparently six days ago. So the last activity was by ... ghosts?

I notice that the Horror group now has a member. Also when I quit the Commercial group in the Graveyard Section due to lack of activity it popped up on the front page again. I often wondered if that was the group resurrecting itself to plead with me to come back. I held my nerve and, over the next four weeks, it died again. However from time to time it appears on the front page through some unexplained reincarnation enticing me with it's soft sirenic whispers ...

And, just checking, the blinking group is back again, rising from the grave like some undead creature of the night. Last activity three days ago even though it's showing April 29th as last activity. I'm getting very worried now.

Added to that was the dream I had around the same time involving my blood-sucking vampiress of a first wife ...

i guess you just can't keep a good Commercial story buried forever.

A valid point Alex. I think someone posted something that actually related to the topic of Essays, realised their mistake and removed it. Posting some comment on topic??? Now that is scary!

I think clicking on the like/made me think etc bar counts as activity, so prob just that.
