Welcome to the club, Kate. You'll find if you spend too long in Fantasy the star sticking out of your shoulder gets tarnished by the sulphur fumes, but Roman- sorry, Women's Fiction usually have a hot tip or two for getting it shining again.

Just come back from listening to David Armitage, author of 'Born to be Mild', speak at our local book shop. http://www.shropshirestar.com/show_article.php?aID=43147 He's a fantastic example of how to get your book out there, and also a really engaging guy.
