This doesn't seem to be very Random to me. I get the same few selections over and over again every time I refresh, and every day.

I guess I wouldn't be complaining if my work ever showed up on it

damn! you noticed! It's actually quite hard to do a trully random selection.. I will go back to my books and see if there's a fairer way to do it!

I've noticed another problem with it too. Sometimes when you click on a piece of work listed under the ramdom section it takes you to the wrong piece of work. For example clicking on Anna's Lion of Kabul takes me to her Paula story.

OK <walks proudly back into forum> I've fixed both issues - give it a try, it's pretty random now, and it definitely goes to the correct page!

i hate to be the party pooper but i have been on line quite a lot today and visited the site at reasonbably frequent intervals and I am sorry to say I dont think it is very random some works have appeared on a number of different occasions during the day.

i appreciate it is difficult and have no idea how you resolve it

I also as a new comer wonder what criteria you use to determine the most popular.
