In an otherwise magnificient site.... etc

One thing that annoys me is that on opening the My WriteWords page I see the whatever number of days remaining of paid membership message page-centre, in my face. Can this not be put elsewhere, or maybe only appear when say, there are fifty and then twenty days left or something, or a reminder sent via WWmail?? It feels too much like a countdown, like someone's after my next subscription, to be blunt.
