We're moving all the details of our 'WordSchool' courses on to the WriteWords site. The two were always inextricably linked (most tutors are WW experts) so it seemed a sensible move.

Why is this happening? Who asked for it? Who was unhappy with things as they were?
I don't see the reason for this.
I preferred the distance that existed between the more commercial activities of WordSchool and the sweet, member-owned feel of WW. I was well aware of the existence of WS as an option before this move, so why do it? I feel distinctly uneasy about it.
Any thoughts?
Pete

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but this sounds like a tacky sales pitch

the above lift from David's post is meant to be in quotes
Pete, I don't really see what the difference is, aside from putting them under one roof. There's always been a "courses" tab at the top (as far as I can remember). There's no obligation for anyone to enrol. It's just there if people want to. I rally don't see it as a pitch at all. Don't think you've got anything to worry about at all.
Thanks. I just don't understand the thinking behind the move, that's all. Like you ,WS is only a click away for those interested, so why change? Anyone know?
I guess I like the feeling of this place having no or very little commercial interest, that's all, and I'd like it to stay that way.
