WriteWords is delighted to welcome a new site expert, David Smith of Annette Green Authors' Agency. David is going to stop by the site from time to time and offer his informed feedback and comment on members work.

David visits MA Creative Writing courses all over the country to talk to students and give them feedback on their work. He has also contributed a chapter to the forthcoming University of Edinburgh Creative Writing Handbook.

That's good news. David Smith came to talk to us on the MPhil at Glamorgan, and was very helpful. It's such a pity when the CW world divides into 'us and them', and such a good thing when bridges are thrown across the divide!

Excellent News. I do hope that David will 'stop by the site' on many occasions. I also hope that he is not bombarded by Members anxious to get into his agency through the back door.

Anyway I am sure David will make his position very clear. This is a very positive and helpful step for Members.

21 November 2005 : Open Season declared on Annette Green Authors' Agency.

We had an agent (or assistant agent) on here a while back (Katie Williams), and she was incredibly useful. She did ask for submissions from WW members on one occasion, but generally, her insights into the day-to-day workings of a literary agency were... insightful.
