Sorry if this question has already been asked and answered, but could someone elucidate on the new bookmarks feature I've just noticed? If I choose to bookmark a writer, does that mean I will be noified each time there is a new piece from him/her? Will he/she know about it? Are we notified when someone else book-marks us? Does it work by genre or by group? Is there anything else I should knw?

Oh, sorry, I looked further down and think I've found some of the answers. I can't think of a real use for it, though, except maybe as a reminder.The notification aspect, if introduced, would be a really useful feature.

Sheila, I think David is working on a system to notify us if a bookmarked writer posts work on the site. In the meantime I find it useful to bookmark pieces when I don’t have time to read them as I know from experience that I'm likely to miss them when I do have the time.

Thanks. Dee. This is good advice, as I sometimes find if I dn't comment as soon as I am notified I forget all about not having read the piece.
