Is anyone else having problems sending messages on here?
I recieved a message from cbaledge about problems she's having with the site, but wasn't able to respond to her. I wasn't able to contact David Bruce either, I just get a "connection refused" message.

She says

Hi, Bazz. I`m asking for help accessing the site. I paid full membership (twice, actually, for there was a mix-up) but now can`t access any of the groups to which I think I belong. Any help or advice is much appreciated.

(It's possible the messages went through anyway, but just told me otherwise, either way, i'm leaving this here to make sure David sees it)

Apparently other people have had problems with WW mail as well. Is it not working for everyone?


 

Haven't used email since 14th but it was fine then.

Hi Alan, that's interesting, I recieved both emails, but got no notifications about it. Looks like it's working, but no one can tell when they use it.

Hopefully David got the WW mail I sent him, then.

I had the same problem/message as you, so it's not just you!

I get 'connection refused'. For this very reason I can't contact David and don't have his email address. Anyway, knowing that he has already been contacted by WW members, I emailed Anna Reynolds saying this is causing a lot of problems and could she get in touch with David and see that this gets sorted. It has worked before.

I think the WW mail system is working, but everyone's getting the "connection refused" message. David should have got the message I sent him, hopefully.

Everything seems to be hanging.  I appear to have posted, but I can't bring it up for editing.  There's a lot of lag between typing and I can't access the links I've just posted.

Hiya, all ... I just joined WriteWords but wish I hadn't. Try as hard as I can (and believe me I've made loads of attempts) I can't get any of my work sent for critique. No wonder you're losing members! Very disappointedly, Doug.

Really sorry to hear that you're having these very frustrating problems. The only thing I can suggest is to write to David Bruce via a private email on this site. I understand he's the guy who sorts these problems out. If anyone else can help here, please do. We need to support our new members.
