    I got an error, just now, from the website:

    Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80040e31'

    [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver]Timeout expired

    /forum/forum.asp, line 41


    I was looking at a topic in the Private Members forum, and selected the Lounge forum from the dropdown. After a delay of a minute or more, that error appeared in a browser window. I've been noticing a certain slowness of response from the website, for a week or two, so it could be related to that.

    Given that the error seems related to database access, maybe there is a need to do some performance tuning of the SQL Server database?

    I had similar problems this morning, Alex, but without the error message. Very frustrating.
