Is there any way of marking a favourite author on this site. In my perusals of the site I have come accross stuff I really like. Invariably it is when I don't have enough time to reply. I am new here and often the pieces I like are the 9th or 10th chapter in an ongoing thing so I find I have to go back and start at the begining before I can comment on the current work.

The problem I am finding is the next day I can't remember who's work I was in the process of reading and have to try and recreate the steps I took to find it in the first place.

It would be helpful if I could bookmark the guy (or gal) so I could return there easily. Or, even better if I would be emailed when my select author or authors uploaded a new work.

    Brian.

Good idea, Brian. I know I’m currently guilty of missing a few pieces by my favourites. I often read in the mornings before I go to work, but don’t have time to comment, then by the time I get home I’ve forgotten. (yes, I know the commas are in the wrong place… An email to remind me would be great.

David is a whiz with stuff like this … I bet he could do it if enough people wanted it.

Count me as one of the wanters ...

I know that there have been times I've read something I've really liked, meant to keep up with subsequent chapters or work by that author, then got distracted by a million other things and lost the thread ...

    I think it'd be a great idea.
