I know that many have mixed feelings about the reaons and effectiveness of war.

My own view is, despite the rights and wrongs of those wars that have happened in the past we should not denegrate the sacrifice of all of those who took part, thus today I have decided to share one of my war poems with you as my tribute. I have many such poems but by and large choose not to post them.

Remember today those whose sacrifice made it possible for us to have the freedom to voice our objections to war and havegiven us the opportunity so that we can try to prevent wars happening again
