I like the idea of the random read. I've just downloaded one and will let you know what I think of it.

I think Derek is absolutely right. A word count would be handy. I feel mortified when I click on the random read, don't read it because it's 6,000 words long and then it disappears unread! Sometimes a long read is fine but often I click on the random read for a snippet.
