Try doing a search using the box on the left of the site now and after a few letters you should start to see suggestions - currently the suggestions come from user names, titles, and directory names - which should make things a lot quicker for those kinds of searches. You can still search full text of works by pressing the GO button.

It's great, thanks! - but if i type in a couple of letters, then change my mind about searching and click somewhere outside the search box, it stays up there, blocking my view of the page below. Is it possible to make it disappear when you clikc outside of the box?

i've been working on just that, but it's hard! will try harder!
