I was just wondering if there was any scope for being able to see how many times a certain piece of work has been read. Possibly something that only the author could see on their "My Writewords" page.

Thoughts?

I think that would be a good idea is perhaps most of the mechanisim already in place as presumably that is how the most popular work section is compiled

Has this idea been laughed off, or just not read yet?

Insane Bartender - I did clock this idea when you first posted, but must have got sidetracked - sorry for the delayed response.

If anyone's concerned their work isn't getting read enough, experience has shown us that by far the best way to get more response is to interact with other members - comment on other work (drawing comparison to your own work where appropriate) and chat in the forum. We do have a special 'Introduce your work' forum specially for you to highlight your work.

I think we're a bit reluctant to go down this line, for various reasons. It's something we've discussed several times.
