I'll back David up all the way - a simple solution, and it may work. Default to members only sounds good to me. Can it be made retroactive, or would that bother some members?

John, I'd be happy with that - I always set the display to 'WriteWords Members Only.'

Similarly, ... I set it to 'Writeword members only' just to keep the outside world out. But I want my work open to anyone who is a member of Writewords. There has been a disturbing tendency for people to start forming small sub groups within WW lately, I think this weakens the spirit of WW and I am dead against it. Cliques are bad news.
