The groups here are teeming with life. I have managed to enroll in two but really want to get into a short stories group - most of my work is short, though I am working on a novel. Is there any chance of a new short story group starting?

I'll join it too if it opens - I wanted a short story group but they were all full, so I went into Fiction III......

Ahhh. I was too late even for that. As it is my stories seem to have become invisible. Maybe they're just too boring - or probably just too gross. I'll keep trying.

John, are you concerned that you're not getting enough comments? I'm not sure whether you've posted a pointer to them in the 'Introduce Your Work' forum, but that usually helps. Re. your question as to whether your stories may be too gross - umm - I can only speak for myself, but the first sentence of Lily sent me fleeing, and although I read some of Tallow I was too apprehensive to continue in case the content kept me awake at night. Sorry, that's just me I guess, hope you don't take this amiss or mind me being frank, but you did ask.

Hi Nell, thanks for the advice. I have no complaints about your response to the stories - these particular ones are meant to disturb (perhaps I should have labelled them horror). I will come back with some less disturbing stuff soon.
