We've added two new groups today:
Historical Fiction and

One Month Novel - this latter group has been set up at the request of a group of ww members who are hoping to spur their writing on by all finishing their novels in February - good luck to them! (They are also welcoming other members).

Thanks for setting up the One Month Novel group, David.

Just to clarify, it needn't be a whole novel you write, but it's an intensive group designed to help meet a specific goal, for example, my goal is to finish my novel by the end of Feb, which will probably mean another 20-25k words.

I'm not sure about one-month novel. It's just taken me a week to write 2,000 words, and I'll be deleting half of those tomorrow.

Great idea, both of them. I'm very tempted by the One Month group. It might spur me on to finish the first draft of The Fifth Daughter while I'm waiting for TWH to be rejected by all the top New York agents…

'Course it would count, Dee. I'm aiming for about 20-25k...even then I reckon it's a massive challenge...especially after the day I've just had (this is the first time I've had the use of both arms!).

Sadly no, or I’d be mainlining it myself. It’s a diffuser which mimics happy-cat pheromones. V expensive, so if it doesn’t work she’s gonna have to pay for therapy out of her pocket money…
