20 pounds  equals  how many american dollars ?  i would like to become a full member but obviously i live in the US.

Emma,  thank you for the info and the site. It's less than it was in early 2000 when the dollar  was worth half  the pound.  one thousand dollars at the exchange got me five hundred.....talk about deflation.
