To anyone who has donated to the Aid Agencies helping the Philippine earthquake and typhoon victims, I would just like to say: thank you.

I wasn't directly affected by the typhoon, but was shaken by the earthquake. The island (Bohol) is still recovering. In fact, today is the first day in a month we have had full power, but it is only temporary.

People here are very grateful for the aid they have received. Any road journey - and many are still blocked - will reveal numerous hand-written / painted signs saying 'daghang salamat' (Many thanks).

Oh, so glad you're okay, Alan. Very best of luck with things getting back to something a bit more like normal. Keep safe!
