Hello! I hope this is ok to post here, but like everyone I've been watching the horrific news about the typhoon in the Philippines and wishing there was something I could do.

Well, Keris Stainton, late of this parish, along with others, has set up http://authorsforphilippines.wordpress.com/ - with the aim of raising money for the Philippines disaster appeal. The same team was behind Authors for Japan which raised over £13,000 - it would be fantastic if we could match or even beat this total.

Authors and agents have donated critiques, dedications, signed copies and much much more - there is really something for everyone, so please get bidding for this excellent cause and share this with any friends or groups who may be interested.

Oh and Cacaooper is on there too!
