Mr Jem and I will be visiting The Smoke during the second half of October and I would like to book tickets for something brilliant. But I'm not sure what will be good. Trouble is you can book so far in advance for something and then when it finally comes round the reviews have been written and it's only two stars or three. I want a five star memorable knock-'em-dead drama, basically. Any suggestions?
Not sure if it will still be on, but I've heard that 'Posh' is very good...
I'm not sure I could cope with this, Trilby. I'm sure it's okay but I have enough of Cameron et al in every day life without going to watch them being sent up. I think I need something with a bit more of a bite - more about human condition rather than a discussion about privilege or class. Something less British.
There's a fair bit of Shakespeare coming up, in that case... Timon of Athens?
Or this?
