... I thought some of you might want to be reminded of the brilliant Ramona Marquez

I've never seen it but have heard about it, so will try and watch tonight.

Brilliant clip! I can only echo the comments below. Apparently she got the part becaue she was spotted at a school by the wife of one of the programme makers who thought she would be suitable. Genius find. If she never acts again, she's still classic!

Outnumbered is brilliant - the best British comedy in years. I loved series one and two, and am really looking forward to series 3. The three child actors had no script in the first two series' and the adults had to do quite a lot of improvising around how the children reacted to their lines. It gives the whole thing a wonderfully chaotic feel.

I just love her being the opposite of cute.
-
Love it, but find it quite exhausting to watch.
-
Sorry, i can't stand this. I really tried last night but had to switch it off. Those kids were heaps funnier when interviewed on Rossy.
-
This might be because a lot of the appeal had to do with them being little - and now they're not so little. Am planning on watching it tonight.
-
True. I do find much of the humour predictable though - like the disabled person waiting outside the loo, like the revolving door of the other loo swinging open.
But then i love My Family which many people find appalling!
-
I love Outnumbered. I think what makes it so great is that the kids' stuff is mostly improvised. It makes it feel very real IMO.

I didn't see it but will watch on I-player today. I used to loathe "My Family".
-
I think a lot of it boils down to how much you like the characters. I love the characters in My Family, so can forgive the sometimes weak plots.
Whereas i just cannot warm to the parents in Outnumbered.
-
I really relate to the mother. Not that I am a mother - I just do anyway.

I watched those clips and agree they are brilliantly well observed and funny but it's a bit like watching in the evening what you've spent all day doing so I might give it a miss.
-
Maybe that's why I like it, Cherys, cos I don't have kids but love kids?
