Well as they said, Susie, the fact that it was noticed was half of it, and having the chutzpah to move it was what made it special. It was also something one simply couldn't reproduce, and there was so many things that could be read into it. Some of those installations only had the one interpretation - or no interpretation, as far as one was concerned.
I do think Chan should have done one of her wonderful videos, rather than that white attic room.

Actually I thought Chan was going to have a video on all the walls of the white room, so you climbed the ladder and stuck your head up into another world.
Probably been done already, though.
And that tessler machine with the hair could have been a video installation.
